Transfer Files through the Internet

IMPORTANT: For sending more than one photo it is advised to that you "zip" your folder of photos so that you can send the entire folder. Otherwise, you will only be able to send one photo at a time.

 

How to zip your folder of photos :  

 

To create a zip file on a Windows computer:

1. Locate the file(s) or folder(s) you want to compress.
2. Right-click the file or folder, point to Send To, and then click Compressed (zipped) folder.
   A new compressed folder is created in the same folder. To rename it, right-click the folder, click Rename, and then type the new name.

To create a zip / compressed file on a Mac:   please follow the steps below:

1. Control-click or right-click on the file (or multiple files selected) or folder (or multiple folders selected) to be compressed or zipped
2. On the Mac pop-up menu, click Create Archive of "file name" (or Compress "file name" depending on your MacOS version).
3. A zip-format compressed archive of the selected files or folders will be created on the desktop. 
4. Original files or folders will be left intact without changes.

You may now send the zip file through YouSendIt to any user (Mac, Windows, or Linux) and they should be able to un-zip the file after they receive it.

 

 

 Mail-In Process

 

For people who choose not to send their photos via the internet, we invite you to use our easy Mail-In Process because uploading photos can be tricky for people.

Your personal concierge will help walk you through the process. Doesn't that make it easy for you? Just pick up the phone and call us . There are 3 common formats for you to mail-in your "digital" photos. 

1) just remove the camera card from your camera, or

2) copy your photos on a CD, or

3) copy your photos on a flash drive (memory stick).  No need to spend                                         money to print photos from a printer.

If you already have printed photos, or slides or negatives, we can handle those as well. We'll convert them to a digital format. That way, you can go back 50 years or more and make whatever type of album you want.

Once you have gathered everything you need to send us, just place them in a protective envelope and mail them to:

No need to worry about your photos; they will be returned to you after we have completed your photo album.
